In a nail-biting matchup against the Wyoming Cowboys, Texas Longhorns receiver Xavier Worthy delivered a much-needed spark for his team in the fourth quarter. With an impressive 44-yard touchdown, Worthy not only secured the lead but also showcased his prowess on the field.

The No. 4 Texas Longhorns had encountered significant offensive struggles throughout the game. However, on the third play of the final quarter, Worthy took matters into his own hands, determined to break the offensive cold spell.

With quarterback Quinn Ewers delivering a short pass behind the line of scrimmage, Worthy wasted no time. He swiftly sprinted down the sideline, leaving the Wyoming defense in his wake. The electrifying play culminated in a remarkable touchdown, putting Texas ahead 17-10 after the game had been tied at 10-10.

This remarkable score marked Worthy's 23rd collegiate career touchdown, solidifying his position as the third all-time leader in receiving touchdowns in the program's history. It is a testament to his exceptional skills and the impact he continues to make on the team.

Notably, this is Worthy's second touchdown of the season, following his impressive performance in the previous week's victory over Alabama. After that game, Worthy expressed his belief in the evolving culture within the program.

"I feel like this shows how our culture has gotten better," Worthy stated. "It shows how we stay together as a team. Like I've been saying, the culture here is stronger than ever. I feel like we came in here as one ... and showed that we are really together and we have something going on."

Following the touchdown, Worthy's total for the game stood at four catches for 56 yards, assisting his team to what was ultimately a commanding win over Wyoming.
