Xavier Worthy, the former Texas wide receiver, may not have stepped onto an NFL field yet, but he's already etching his name in the annals of football history.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has made a special request for Worthy's jersey and cleats from his remarkable performance at the 2024 NFL scouting combine. Worthy's electrifying 40-yard dash shattered the previous record, held by John Ross since 2017, by a mere 0.01 seconds.

In addition to his record-breaking sprint, Worthy boasted an impressive 98 athleticism score at the NFL combine, securing the top spot among wide receivers in attendance. His stellar showing has ignited significant buzz, with projections placing him as a potential first-round pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

During his illustrious collegiate career with the Longhorns, Worthy compiled an impressive stat line, tallying 197 receptions, 2,755 receiving yards, and 26 receiving touchdowns over three seasons. His prowess extended beyond the receiving game, as he led the Big 12 in receiving touchdowns for consecutive seasons and topped the nation in punt return yards (371) in his final collegiate campaign.
